Home > About Us

In May, college towns across the country are overwhelmed by a mass migration of friends and family of graduating students. The result is that the Hotels in these towns are booked solid a year in advance, and most people are forced to either accept less then satisfactory accommodations on the outskirts of town or to commute from neighboring communities throughout the course of the weekend.

Visitors are not the only people inconvenienced by this situation. Local residents also suffer. Traffic becomes unbearable, reservations at restaurants are unattainable, and members of the community usually are forced to endure a weekend locked in the house because their once peaceful little town has been transformed into an overcrowded holding cell.

Collegeweekends.com has finally come to the rescue of both locals and guests. Collegeweekends.com is a company created for the purpose of giving residents of college towns an excuse to take a long weekend out of town and make money doing it by renting out their home to friends and relatives of graduating seniors. Our website provides the perfect medium for community members to advertise their homes annually so that people seeking accommodations can be served.

Clients of Collegeweekends.com pay $89.95 for an annual membership. This membership provides them with the ability to list their house on the web with up to three pictures of their house. Members will be able to login and update their listing at their convenience. Since graduation weekend is not the only time that college towns experience an overflow of visitors (Football games, Homecoming, etc), members will have the option of renting out their house year round. Collegeweekends.com is not a rental agency. We are simply a marketing firm putting customers in touch with our clients. It is the client's responsibility to negotiate all terms of the rental agreement. However we are happy to provide templates for rental documents as wells as "Preparing your home for rental" checklists.

It is our goal at Collegeweekends.com to provide a service that will make big college weekends across the country an even more enjoyable experience.
